The month formerly known as November was a hairy one at DGWB, as we got our Mo on for Movember: an annual event where men grow mustaches during November to raise money and awareness for men’s health issues such as prostate and testicular cancer, as well as other male health issues.
As a part of our yearlong 25 for 25 initiative, DGWB aimed to raise $2,500 for Movember — an attempt to soar past our $657 donation tally from 2012. We proudly smashed last year’s total, raising $2,820. Special props go to Mo Bro and DGWB PR AE Collin Whitley who led all in Mo-wareness, hauling in $751 by himself.
So let’s track the big Mo Grow…
We kicked the month off with our Shave Party and watched as the glorious mo’ growth began! As you can see, all mo’s came in different shapes and sizes. They also served as a great topic of conversation around the office and a general awakening of how pervy one’s co-worker could actually look.
